The third and final model year for the first-generation Chevrolet Camaro was 1969. It would also prove to be the highest production year of the first generation, with 243,085 copies leaving the factory. These 1969 Chevy Camaro Z/28's are believed to be two painted a rare special-order hue known as Carolina Blue (this was GMC fleet light blue).
The Chevrolet Camaro for 1969 had a host of aesthetic changes, with front fenders, rear quarters, rear panel, header, valance, and doors all receiving design tweaks. Wheel wells were flattened for a more aggressive look, and the standard grille had a new look, with sharper angles. Outfitted with a high-revving 427 engine with dual exhausts, these Z/28 Camaros provided the driver with powerful performance.

Clarksville native Patrick Nichols has been on many treasure hunts and has discovered 50 or more classic muscle cars that were buried under the hands of time in barns, garages, storage sheds and back yards since his youth. Recently, Nichols found a rare and valuable 1970 Chevelle SS454 LS6, that was stashed away in an industrial storage building in Reno, Nevada for decades.
.
The Chevelle was built in Van Nuys, Calif., and finished with a special “Metallic Orange” paint option. It is estimated that less than 25 extraordinary cars were assembled and painted the unique orange hue. Nichols purchased the car and had it transported to Clarksville. It was restored and named “Sunkist” as a wink to its original paint.

ACME is thrilled to present pics of the final tooling sample of our 1:18 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad! We are expecting the first decorated sample in the next 3 - 4 weeks and production will begin after that sample is approved. If all goes well, we hope to have production completed and shipped to us sometime in 2024
When Chevy’s line of cars was redesigned in 1955, they added two new editions: the upscale Bel Air model and the Bel Air Nomad, a 2-door sport wagon. The latter was based in part on a 1954 Corvette show car that had many of the styling cues that made it into the production Nomad which caused a lot of buzz! From the cowl forward, the wagon was all Bel Air. But from the windshield back, it had its own body that shared no sheet metal with other Chevy station wagons. Only 8,386 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomads were produced.
The Chevrolet Nomad could carry up to 6 people, or make some muscle car noises. Priced at $2,571 in 1955, the Nomad came with a 265 cubic-inch V8 as standard equipment. The top-of-the-line engine in 1955 for the Nomad was a Chevy small block with a four-barrel carb and dual exhausts. This setup was good for a maximum of 180 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.
Note: There may be some minor changes that may occur before final production.

There’s little doubt that the 1971 Hemi 'Cuda is the Holy Grail of muscle cars! It’s the one muscle car that stands out for being the first American muscle car to demand north of the million dollar mark at auction (in 2014). But the status of the Hemi Cuda is not new; it has long been lusted for as a legendary muscle car with sinister looks and the power to back it up.
First, yes, it's In Violet paint (commonly referred to as Plum Crazy), that wild and eye-grabbing '70s pop-culture hue that practically defined Mopar performance machinery. Both models have white seating and door panels with black dashboard and carpet. Under the hood you'll find the 383 Big Block Wedge powerplant which was designed to be a great combination of thrift and performance. Few Detroit muscle machines had the same impact as the 1971 Cuda with lightning acceleration, flamboyant paint and styling.
